Food Industry Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. You will be responsible for the supervision of all operations at the Amboy facility during your assigned shift. 

What you’ll do:  

• Direct production activities in a safe and efficient manner by leading, motivating, and training employees. 
• Foster, promote, and enforce a safety and quality culture by adhering to all rules and regulations.
• Manage department priorities and ensure completion of appropriate production, processing, and sanitation documentation.
• Conduct HR related activities including performance evaluations, employee counseling, and payroll.
• Utilize strategies to improve yields and throughput and reduce waste, rejections, and complaints. 
• Ensure that all product produced conforms to product specifications.

What you’ll bring: 

• BA or BS degree preferred or at least 5 years’ experience in related food or dairy business. 
• Preferably 2+ years of supervisory experience. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both production staff and management.
• Excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills.
