Python (Dataswarm) Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Very hands-on coding experience will be coding 80%+ of the time.
• Build and maintain the large-scale systems for data Infra in Meta, including backend services, public interface, and support for UI and CLI.
• Work towards project deliverables and goals according to the team’s project plan
• Deliver the projects on time, with high quality, and independently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver the projects on time, with high quality, and independently. 

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field,
• or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of programming experience in a relevant programming language, especially in Python.
• 4+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
• Expert with Python, bonus on Rust
• Experience designing, analysing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
• Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability
• Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
