Description and Responsibilities

Adult Community Clinical Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service that is designed to deliver evidence-based interventions within a clinically focused model. Individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reside in their own homes, apartments, or in group living environments. Our services focus on helping people transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals. The teams are tight knit, supportive and multidisciplinary. Open Sky’s talented clinicians, substance use counselors, nurses, peer staff, housing counselors, outreach counselors, and direct care staff provide quality, compassionate care to individuals served.

 

The ACCS Senior Interim Program Director provides stability and maintains continuity of services within a division facing unique challenges including a new or absent Program Director.  They assist with a smooth transition and/or departure of managerial staff including training and onboarding of staff and teams. This position required flexibility, including movement to various teams as determined by vacancies and need.

 

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the hiring, supervision, mentoring and evaluation of program staff. 
  • Assist with the training and orientation of staff, including ongoing coaching and support to Program Directors as needed. 
  • Participate in the implementation of component goals, objectives, and work plan tasks that are directed toward accomplishing the Agency’s Mission and Vision.   
  • Oversee the management of administrative functions including fiscal matters, physical plant and other administrative functions. 
  • Ensure optimum program coverage through the development and monitoring of the schedule. 
  • Develop and implement program structures and routines which promote a therapeutic milieu which fosters growth and development for all.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services with supervisory experience in a residential or community based behavioral health setting, preferred. Significant experience in community based behavioral health including outreach and group living environments may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Supervisory experience in a residential or community-based behavioral health setting, required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
