After School Site Director (Full-Time) - Camp Campbell

- Ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, educational YMCA youth programming in a nurturing environment. Deliver programs and activities that align with the YMCA standards.
- Develop and maintain yearly budgets and establish and sustain positive relationships with program participants, their families and prospective members.
- Hire, train, and provide continuous support and feedback to program staff.
- Actively participate in annual campaign and lead successful participation in campaigns to increase financial aid resources.
- Analyze, strategize, visualize, identify problems, and reach conclusions to create and implement action within After School and Day Camp programs.
- Attend meetings, online webinars, and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, teachers, and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Must have good decision making skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Experience planning and facilitating large group programming.
- Demonstrate excellence in After School and Day Camp operations.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
- 2 years related experience with prior success managing Youth Development & Social Responsibility programs.
- Or the combination of education, training and experience commensurate with others in this position.
- Possess Health and Safety certificate (includes First Aid and CPR).
- Complete YMCA child abuse prevention and injury and illness prevention training within 30 days of hire.
- All personnel shall be in good health and shall be physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Verification of good health by a health screening, including a test for TB, not more than one year prior to their start date or three days after employment.
- Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by law (from DOJ/CACI and FBI) prior to working with children and on site.
- Minimum age of 21.

- Supervisory skills in training and coaching staff to high expectations.
