About the role

The Senior Manager, Product Implementation & Communication will focus on increasing the effectiveness of our collective sales teams.  The position will partner with Sales leadership, Marketing, Underwriting, Credit Risk, Operations, and Product Development to enable the implementation of products and materials that deliver programs, and content that will enhance the client experience and sales performance. 

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Product Deployment & Enablement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Training to support the rollout of new mortgage products.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, and success metrics for product launches.
  • Create and maintain training materials, job aids, and internal documentation to support adoption.

Client-Facing Documentation

  • Own and maintain the company’s lending guides, product matrices, and other key client-facing materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
  • Regularly review and update documentation to reflect product changes, regulatory updates, and market conditions.

Communication Strategy

  • Lead the creation and distribution of impactful communications (e.g., bulletins, newsletters, FAQs) that inform clients and partners of product updates, policy changes, and operational enhancements.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent, timely, and aligned with brand and regulatory standards.

Product Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s mortgage products and services across all origination channels (Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent, etc.).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mortgage lending, product management, or a related field.
  • Strong background in Product Management, with a solid understanding of underwriting guidelines, credit policy, and mortgage operations.
  • Experience working with Third-Party Originations (TPO) and Retail Lending environments.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, with the ability to translate complex policies and procedures into clear, client-facing materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced Excel skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, document automation tools, and project management platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, Asana).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital communication tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments including Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Training.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information, and present it in a way that is accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and follow-through.

Training / Licensing Requirements: 

  • Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.

The salary range for this position is expected to be $110,000 – $130,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for annual bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
