Job Description Summary
We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, Lean practitioner to serve as Global Fleet Programs Leader joining the Global Site Issue Management Organization within HDNU Projects.As the Global Fleet Programs Leader, you will lead a team of Program Managers responsible for managing implementation of containment and corrective actions to address critical quality defects impacting the heavy-duty pre & post-COD portfolios. The Global Fleet Programs Leader plays a critical role in enabling predictable program execution, improving equipment reliability and customer satisfaction in line with Gas Power’s operational and financial objectives.
As the Global Fleet Programs Leader, you will partner closely with all of Gas Power’s enabling functions to drive continuous reduction of fleet technical risks by maximizing penetration of fleet corrective actions.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers overlooking timely evaluation, planning & implementation of fleet containment and corrective actions stemming from select root cause analyses
- Oversee the prioritization and execution of multiple complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer commitments
- Defining and managing Fleet Programs budget and associated financial metrics in close coordination with Engineering and other enabling functions
- Establish effective cross functional coordination with key stakeholders, including Engineering, Quality, Finance, Product Line, OFS, GSC and Poles for optimal definition and implementation of containment & corrective actions
- Ensure timely and effective communication of program status to Senior Leadership, field teams, and internal stakeholders. Serving as focal point for Senior Leadership discussions concerning definition of fleet implementation strategies
- Achieving yearly fleet penetration & productivity targets while accelerating fulfillment in line with SQDC objectives. Operationalization and management of L1/L2 KPIs
- Defining and operationalizing Standard Work for all Fleet Program Management related activities in close coordination with enabling functions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex programs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels of the organization. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills under pressure
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver executive-level briefings on complex technical and operational issues
Desired Characteristics
- Project Management experience
- Field Engineering experience with gas/steam turbines, generators, or other heavy-duty power generation equipment
- Root Cause Analysis execution and leading Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical skills including KPI management & senior leadership reporting
- Certification in Six Sigma, PMP, or similar methodologies
- Servant leadership mindset; highly collaborative with demonstrated capability for driving change
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Track record of building trust and credibility with others through results
- Domain of LEAN
Pay Transparency
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $131,700.00 – 219,300.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on or after Sept. 10, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
