We are looking for a competitive Insurance Sales Representative to help us expand our business by actively seeking and acquiring new clients. We are seeking innovative, forward thinking, self-motivated, and tenacious individual with a strong sales background. To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organized, detail oriented and have a strong knowledge base and background in the Insurance arena.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones
- Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc.
- Appraise the wishes and demands of business or individual customers
- Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them the proper solution
- Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records
- Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it on the field
- Effectively communicate with customers, internal staff, and management
- Ability to set, meet, and exceed sales goals
- Write business correspondence using correct grammar, spelling and word usage.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- Be proficient in personal computer skills, including Internet, e-mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative, both personal and commercial lines of business
- Good comprehension of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.
- Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
- Goal-oriented
- Excellent skills in communication and presentation
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
- Can consistently prospect for future customers with a positive attitude.
