About the role
The Dell Partner Alliance Manager's primary focus will be on Channel Business Development, working to align Computacenter and Dell’s field sellers and technical specialists in order to grow our mutual business.
What you'll do
- Align with one or more strategic Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business partners to drive programs within Computacenter United States that drive results and create business value.
- Understand all aspects of Dell’s Channel program including but not limited to contracts, pricing, deal registration, rebates, portals, configuration tools and go-to-market strategies.
- Champion Dell solutions throughout Computacenter United States
- Facilitate training and educating of both engineers and sales representatives on Dell products and solutions.
- Track progress and report on Computacenter United States progress towards Dell provided goals.
- Create and execute a Dell-aligned regional program that includes but is not limited to events, advertising, lead generation campaigns, technical workshops, etc.
- Ensure that Marketing activities are organized and executed in accordance with Dell and Computacenter United States guidelines.
- Possess and be able to expand extensive knowledge about the practice and Computacenter United States’ solutions and be able to communicate these to the customers.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Understand and abide by all security and operational polices.

What you have
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales, Partner Management or Pre-Sales Engineering preferred.
- The ability to understand all aspects of OEM Channel programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting.
- Professional self-starter, able to work collaboratively with others.
- Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
- Good knowledge of the industry channel dynamics.
- Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Prefer a strong working knowledge of Microsoft-Office and Internet.
