The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team at Arine. This newly created role will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations for the Finance Team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining strong vendor relationships while supporting internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices in Tipalti
• Prepare monthly Accounts Payable reports, including aging reports and vendor statement reconciliations, for management review
• Assist with AP-related month-end close activities, including accruals and bank reconciliations
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date vendor database, ensuring all vendor documentation and tax forms are current
• Manage vendor relationships, research, and resolve inquiries/discrepancies promptly
• Audit employee expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy before processing reimbursements
• Review, code, and reconcile credit card transactions
• Assist in supporting annual U.S. GAAP audits from third-party auditors
• Ad hoc reporting
• Prepare annual Form 1099 filings for contractors

Who You Are and What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in SaaS 
• Experience with Tipalti, Rippling, and NetSuite strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
