As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, Dallas or Birmingham.Our team’s mission is to maintain, support, and ensure the stability of non-production environments for PNC’s payment processing systems.
This includes:
Ensuring software and hardware is upgraded to stay ahead of EOL
Building new instances of supported applications
Resolving infrastructure-related vulnerabilities
Troubleshooting and resolving system problems
Root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention
Implementing complex vendor software upgrades
Configuring, provisioning and supporting various payments processing applications
Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Job Description
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
