Postdoc in Novel Protein Process Synthesis and Design – DTU Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering is looking to hire a postdoc, to further our work with industry. Therefore, we are looking for a person with passion to work with modelling tools and programming languages. The task of the candidate is to support both research and commercial activities with industry.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for conducting a range of modelling and optimization tasks. You will be needed to learn new tools of modelling as required by the industry.
Qualifications
- A PhD degree in engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in modelling, optimization, or equivalent tasks in data science
- Good knowledge of integrated model architectures and optimization, in the context of chemical and bioprocess engineering
- Willingness to learn new tools for process optimization
- A team player – demonstrated ability to perform across teams and clients

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 2 years.
