  • Provide technical guidance to the team on advanced DER Integration services—e.g., strategic roadmapping, Locational Value of DER, Microgrids, Digital Twins, Volt-Var Optimization, DERMS, AMDS, etc.
  • Partner with leadership to guide resiliency initiatives, including risk determination, mitigation evaluations, resiliency planning, and integrated distribution system planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Business Development, Software Solutions, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.

Organizational Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop an engineering team, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and accountability for on-time project deliveries.
  • Oversee performance management, setting measurable goals that align with organizational objectives and supporting structured career development paths.
  • Foster a collaborative culture through open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in technical and professional skills.
  • Promote high morale by recognizing achievements, celebrating milestones, and maintaining an inclusive, supportive environment.
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding top engineering talent, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and capacity for both current and future demands.

Operational Excellence

  • Support oversight of the department’s financial performance (P&L), helping develop and maintain revenue and profit forecasts to align with organizational goals.
  • Help establish project management frameworks, ensuring initiatives meet or exceed scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Evaluate and streamline team efficiency by adopting best practices, refining processes, and standardizing tools for consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee quality assurance for client deliverables, implementing thorough review processes to mitigate risk and maintain industry-leading standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, identify trends, and proactively recommend corrective actions for performance gaps.
  • Assess resource needs in consultation with senior leadership, ensuring the right mix of skill sets to balance near-term project demands with longer-term growth.

Business Development & Client Relationships
