Job Description:
The Senior Associate will work directly with the BREDS Public Investments business, which is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing all liquid, real estate-related debt investments on behalf of Blackstone Real Estate. The Senior Associate will be responsible for credit underwriting on new corporate credit investments and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of real estate-related corporate investments. The Senior Associate’s work may include:
- Conducting financial analysis and fundamental due diligence for both public and private companies.
- Performing quarterly financial reviews to monitor credit strength and identify key trends.
- Tracking and communicating material company developments to relevant stakeholders.
- Interpreting and summarizing credit agreements to ensure compliance and understanding of key terms.
- Building and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
- Preparing investment packages and presenting findings to senior management.
- Collaborating with the team to collect, organize, and process documentation and credit-related information.
- Conducting industry-level analysis to assess relative value within the portfolio and identify broader industry headwinds and tailwinds.
Qualifications:

- Education: Undergraduate degree from a top-tier academic institution.
- Experience: 3+ years experience in sales and trading, investment banking, or investment management experience.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
