Job Title
Shaw Plant HW | Machining Infeed Operator | Shift 3Position Overview
Summary: To ensure the infeed area of the machining process is performing at established rate with minimal downtime.
Essential Job Duties:
Make machine/process adjustments by troubleshooting the infeed section of the lines to reduce downtime
Utilize HMI functions to troubleshoot & improve material flow
Clearing any jams/obstructions to the robot and infeed area
Communicating with Profiler & Maintenance any issues with equipment performance
Following any specific instructions related to specific orders
Ensure bundles of material loaded onto the line is prepped and ready to process
Complete necessary tracking and issuing of material to ensure proper tracking
Achieving set quality standards
Monitoring information such as what material is in the process
Complete downtime tracking of performance for infeed area
Perform daily cleaning and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have the ability to perform basic reading, and writing
Must be familiar with current computer systems and software
Must be able to lift 10-30 pounds multiple times a day
Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day
Proven ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management
Passion to work and achieve results
