Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Software Engineer will provide services to execute full software development life cycle and have experience in cloud operations and systems administration.
Qualifications
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly.
Five (5) years of years of experience with the following:
- Have a proven understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages, and tools; Java, Python, Ruby, NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PowerShell, Cl/CD pipelines.
- The ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP)
- Develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages.
- Have expert knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field.
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD (Additional four years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree at the Government's discretion).
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Pivotal Cloud Foundry Docker, OpenStack, and Public or AWS GovCloud delivery solutions via AWS and/or Azure.

Target Salary Range
