Solventum is seeking Maintenance Technician candidates to join our 2nd Shift team in Stafford Springs CT!

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Tuesday - Saturday; 3pm - 11pm)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Providing support for basic maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, facilities maintenance, audits, demolition, service to production tasks, and assisting skilled maintenance crafts
• Assisting in the documentation and implementation of maintenance procedures
• Entering Work Orders and inventory via SAMS, SAP or other MRP system
• Supporting daily wastewater treatment plant operations
• Assisting Plant Engineering or performing other assignments as directed by supervision and leadership

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• One (1) year of manufacturing, construction or military work experience
• Ability to work 2nd Shift (Tuesday - Saturday; 3pm - 11pm)
• Ability to wear a respirator

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in a manufacturing plant environment
• Possess or currently pursuing certifications or an AS degree targeting a Plant Maintenance career
• PIV certification (will train as needed; must certify within 60 days)
• High Lift experience (will train as needed; must certify within 90 days)
• Possess strong mathematical skills and be a good problem solver
• Ability to read instructions, simple drawings or sketches
