Job Summary
The Manager, Front End Development – Corporate and Field is responsible for designing and developing engaging, responsive, and accessible digital experiences across Comcast’s corporate, career, investor, and field websites. This role blends creative and technical expertise to bring brand storytelling to life online through modern front-end development practices. The Manager collaborates closely with designers, content teams, and technology partners to deliver immersive, high-performing, and visually compelling web experiences that reflect Comcast’s brand identity and business goals.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Front-End Development & Design Implementation
Develop and maintain front-end components, layouts, and templates using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Translate design concepts, wireframes, and visual assets into responsive, accessible web experiences.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure visual accuracy and consistency across all web properties.
Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO across devices and browsers.
Support updates and new features for corporate, career, investor, and field sites to align with brand and business needs.
Digital Storytelling & User Experience
Partner with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Field teams to create immersive, interactive content experiences.
Develop custom digital storytelling modules and page templates that highlight Comcast’s brand, community impact, and innovation.
Ensure user-centered design principles guide development decisions for all audiences and markets.
Implement multimedia and motion elements (video, animation, data visualization) to enhance engagement.
Collaboration & Project Management
Work closely with back-end developers, designers, and content teams to deliver high-quality, timely web updates.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Participate in code reviews, QA processes, and release cycles to maintain code quality and performance.
Coordinate with vendors and technology partners supporting front-end infrastructure and content management systems.
Standards, Accessibility & Optimization
Ensure all websites meet accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) and inclusive design principles.
Maintain and evolve front-end code libraries, design systems, and documentation for consistent development practices.
Apply analytics and usability data to inform enhancements and improve site performance.
Stay current on emerging web technologies, frameworks, and design trends to continuously elevate user experience.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Interactive
