NovaCare Glen Burnie is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are able to consider full time (32hrs.+) or part time schedules. Some evenings until 7PM will be required for both statuses, last patient is scheduled an hour prior.
We offer a multitude of specialty services on top of general ortho to include neuro, pelvic health, vestibular, concussion and sports medicine. There is no requirement to treat specific specialties, our primary focus is orthopedics. An interest in other specialties is HIGHLY preferred.

You must have your Maryland PTA license to start.
Schedule: Monday through Friday treating two nights until 7pm
Full time begins at 32 hours. Steady part time hours are also available.
Compensation Starting At: Commensurate with experience
We are unable to offer medical benefits if you are treating less than 32 hours but you WILL have access to our CEU accrediting courses. Both virtual and in-person, limitlessly.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
- Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
- State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
