This role will leverage extensive VMware virtualization expertise and cloud infrastructure experience to drive innovation and technical excellence. The position requires self-motivation, strong communication and collaboration skills, creativity, a broad range of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to perform research and develop practical, cost-effective, secure, IT-based solution recommendations to solve client business challenges.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Areas of Expertise </strong></p> <p>The Senior IT Engineer should be familiar with:</p> <ul> <li>Enterprise IT architecture, IT management, on-premises IT platforms, compute storage networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and the concepts of Agile project management and software-defined approaches to infrastructure and software deployment</li> <li>Deep understanding of on-premises (VMware) and clouds (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, and/or on-premise cloud such as VMware VCF)</li> <li>VMware vSphere environment design, deployment, and optimization for mission-critical applications</li> <li>Business acumen with the ability to understand and map business requirements to technical requirements</li> <li>Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementation and management using VMware Horizon View</li> <li>Storage solutions integration, including SAN/NAS technologies and NetApp storage systems</li> <li>Backup and disaster r
