Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Procurement Field Representative (Level 3 and 4) to join our Global Field Operations Product Support team in Wichita, Kansas.
Global Field Operations (GFO) is the presence of Boeing at its suppliers and sub-tiers, and is responsible for being the integrators, driving communication and resolutions in our supply base. It is the responsibility of Field Representatives to proactively problem-solve and drive overall supplier recovery to ensure delivery and quality compliance.

Position Responsibilities:
Monitors emergent offload/overload suppliers including processors, philanthropic, machine shop and sheet metal shop to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.
Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance.
Communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.
Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements.
Identifies needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self assessment) to supplier personnel for improvement or enhancement delivery performance.
Participates with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Boeing procurement strategy.
Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent.
Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improves existing processes and reports back to management and make recommendation to procurement agent.
Assesses supplier resource plan and reports results to supervisor/procurement agent.
Supports work movement as requested by supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
3+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to travel/commute daily (up to 75%) - driving within the listed county
Must have a current valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
