You will work directly with and lead varying levels of designers on multi-discipline designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries.

Remote work is allowed although preference is for candidate to be located near one of our offices in Denver, Boise, Salt Lake City or Dallas. 

Detailed Description:

Under the direction of design professionals, you will develop designs in BIM documents utilizing Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD software paired with Autodesk Construction Cloud. In this capacity you will work in partnership with Project Managers and Design Managers to create collaborated water-based designs. Our ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in design coordination of multidiscipline models and be excited about the prospect of developing  team members and innovative projects. Project work includes: development of BIM Execution Plans, setting up project specific standards, project shared coordinates, discipline specific models, mentoring junior staff project oversight from a designer perspective, development of contract drawings, field investigations, and support during construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute work on wastewater and water utilities and industrial facilities including treatment plant, pumping station, and bio-system facility planning and design
  • Setup and maintain AutoCAD, Revit and Bentley projects
  • Coordinate production efforts on projects
  • Deliver CAD, Revit training, including the development of training resources and leading in-house training sessions; provide one on one training with new employees standard process and guidelines
  • Prepare BIM Execution Plan
  • Prepare project deliverables with attention to detail
  • Maintain graphic quality of projects across all disciplines
  • Perform interference and clash detection for Revit projects
  • Participate in the execution of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for all projects
  • Interact frequently and effectively with Designers, Content Development team, BIM Production team and other project team members
  • Perform AutoCAD, Revit system design and documentation
  • Coordinate Kickoff meetings with clients and project team members
  • Assist in development of standards and tutorials
  • Provide 1:1 and small group Revit and AutoCAD support to troubleshoot errors
  • Coordinate design drawing numbering, layouts, and submittal packaging.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects required.
  • Experience with BIM design and using AutoCAD a must.
  • Experience with BIM design and using REVIT a must.
  • Experience with BIM design and using Microstation a plus.
  • Experience in 3D modeling, drawing production and associated workflows.
  • Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally
  • High level of communication and strong writing skills

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A:  $38.30- $52.60

Location B:  $42.10 - $57.80
