IFM Retail Director
This role offers full remote flexibility with strategic travel up to 30%, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Midwest region to align with our primary portfolio concentration.
Lead the transformation of North America's largest retail facilities portfolio as our IFM Retail Director, where you'll command operational excellence across 10+ million square feet spanning 1,800+ dynamic retail environments. Here is some of what your day will look like:
- Oversee service delivery for the entire retail portfolio, ensuring all facilities services meet contract requirements, performance standards, and client expectations
- Lead and develop management-level staff across geographically dispersed teams, providing coaching, performance management, and succession planning while fostering teamwork and excellence
- Manage vendor relationships and performance to ensure third-party services are delivered according to contract terms and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including cost savings programs, benchmarking, best practices implementation, and innovation leveraging JLL's platform and regional networks
- Ensure KPI and SLA achievement across all account metrics while maintaining strict adherence to governance processes and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through superior support, regular communication, and exceptional service quality as measured by client feedback and satisfaction scores
- Manage financial operations including annual budgeting, monthly budget performance reporting, invoice approvals, contract negotiations, and third-party spend oversight

Here is who we are looking for:
A bachelors degree or higher
10+ years of experience specifically managing retail facilities, with proven managerial experience required as this role will manage a team of 9 Senior Facilities Manager.
Strong retail banking and/or Tech experience, capable of managing high-touch, high-end brand product and specialty spaces
Strong client relationship management, strategic thinking with execution capabilities, independent leadership with excellent organizational and multitasking skills, outstanding communication and presentation abilities, and a forward-thinking mindset that drives innovation and transformation.
Understanding of commercial leases, contract documents and routine accounting methods.
Familiarity with building systems, CMMSs, and Microsoft Office
Superior financial skills and budgeting/forecasting
Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with on-call required after-hours
Pay $150,000+ depending on experience and location
