PayPal, Inc. seeks Member Technical Staff 1 in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Integrate with various networks to tokenize the cards and work on multiple initiatives around tokenization. Contribute to the development of new features around network tokens and enhance the existing capabilities. Contribute to the platform improvement around existing bulk Tokenization rails. Continuously monitor the live traffic around bulk and provide enhancements to the existing system. Enhance and maintain the existing legacy stack while migrating code to the new Millennium platform. Define requirements for the migration, as well as the approach for new payment and settlement products. Deliver high quality code to production. Contribute to and drive team and company-wide technical discussions. Coordinate and serve as a bridge between cross functional teams in the U.S. and India. Conduct review of code developed by team members to ensure high technical standards and drive effective testing. Fix bugs and resolve production issues, serving as code owner for network token, settlement ad transaction processing components. Contribute to the resolution of cash mismatch occurrences between real-time and offline entities to avoid future issues. Provide weekly status reports to managers, operations, and quality assurance leaders. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:
Salary: $157,000.00-204,600.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
