Position Specific Description

EverBright is driving the clean energy revolution through its industry-leading residential solar software platform and financing program. Every day, EverBright supports hundreds of solar companies across the US, ensuring they have the tools to be successful and accelerate consumer adoption of clean energy.
 
EverBright has an ambitious vision to enable the decarbonization of the home and we’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Business Development to join a new team within EverBright responsible for identifying significant market opportunities for EverBright’s clean energy solutions and designing new commercial offerings to penetrate those opportunities. Employees in this role have the responsibility of establishing and implementing pricing strategies of residential business by leveraging knowledge of market, competitive analysis, and key financial metrics to attain pricing objectives and revenue growth. This role also supports strategic decision-making with respect to new product offerings.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert of current and new product pricing of the residential business in various states and markets
  • Structuring and Valuation of residential product offerings such as Power Purchase Agreements, Leases and Retail Installment Contracts (RICs)
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to business development on complex pricing strategies and/or revenue management decisions
  • Conducts market analysis on prospective markets and makes pricing recommendations based on business strategy
  • Maintains close working relationships with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Capital Markets and Accounting teams
  • Leads value-added projects such as supporting regional leadership in the development of strategic plans, mergers and acquisitions, project development, optimization, restructurings, and building relationships with installers and state and local regulators
  • Trains and mentors junior analysts
     

Job Overview

Employees in this role support senior management decision making via financial modeling and analysis, including but not limited to, revenue requirements and customer bill impacts, discounted cash flow analysis, and financial statement modeling. This position identifies and conducts complex analysis of financial impacts to issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department forecasting models
  • Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
  • Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services
  • Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies
  • Makes recommendations on financing decisions and executes long and/or short term financings
  • Prepares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management 
  • Acts as a mentor to lower level employees
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s - Accounting / Finance
  • Master’s - Accounting / Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
