40Emplify Health is seeking an End User Computing Engineer to join our Regional End User Computing Team. This role is designed to enhance support for our growing population of remote and hybrid employees.
This role will focus on supporting remote and hybrid staff, helping ensure they have the equipment, tools, and connectivity needed to work effectively. You’ll also collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
What You'll Do:
Under the general direction of next level leader and with guidance from Senior Engineers, the End User Computing Engineer is responsible for the hardware, software, and its connectivity to the network infrastructure that end-users rely on for their work. They provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage the lifecycle of user devices and applications. The End User Computing Engineer provides specialized technical support, consultation, and training services, coordinating and assisting in developing standards for enterprise end user device technologies. This role involves working with users at all levels of the organization and IS teams to support end user devices. Technical knowledge of end user technologies, such as client/server operating systems, end-point management systems and desktop support management software systems, is required.
Major Responsibilities:
Conduct device analysis, configuration, implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and installation of end user devices and software systems.
Collaborate with users at all levels of the organization to identify operational needs and explore information systems options.
Test end user devices to ensure they are functioning effectively before implementation or installation.
Partner with key stakeholders to analyze workflows, drive process improvements, and achieve favorable patient-centric outcomes.
Work on assignments related to end user devices or other sections of projects and report on project task statuses.
Provide initial and ongoing training and education for users on the operation of end user devices.
Prepare support documentation and knowledge documentation as needed.
Serve as the point of escalation for end user device issues/problems triaged from the Help Desk.
Participate in root cause analysis for all solutions maintained within the ITDS department.
Create concise documentation of solutions for both end users and internal support.
Adheres to regular and predictable attendance
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days
Location: This role will require working onsite at our Onalaska, WI Support Services Building
Compensation: Starting pay of $27.27/hour and up based on relevant work experience
What You'll Need:
Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience and education
Experience: 3 years’ relevant experience.
License/ Certification: Valid Driver's License (DL)
Strong Customer Service Skills
Ability to work well independently
