  • Collaborate with other disciplines to create efficient site layouts that optimize space utilization and safety.
  • Ensure proper electrical equipment, substations, charging stations, and other infrastructure placement.
  •      Power Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs):
  • Develop SLDs for both low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) systems.
  • Represent the electrical connections, components, and protection devices in a simplified format.
  •     Cable Schedules and Underground Distribution:
  • Prepare cable schedules detailing cable types, sizes, lengths, and routing.
  • Design underground distribution systems, considering factors like load distribution and fault tolerance.
  •     Grounding and Lighting Design:
  • Design grounding systems to ensure safety, stability, and proper fault current dissipation.
  • Develop lighting layouts for outdoor areas, considering visibility, energy efficiency, and aesthetics.
  •     Utility Coordination:
  • Collaborate with utility companies to ensure seamless integration of the electrification infrastructure.
  • Address any utility-related challenges or requirements.
  •     Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
  • Work closely with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to harmonize designs.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, civil, and construction teams.
  •     Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize power system study software such as ETAP and SKM for load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective device coordination.

Project-Specific Focus Areas:

  •     Fleet Electrification:
  • Design charging infrastructure for electric vehicle fleets, considering charging station locations, power requirements, and resiliency.
  •     Trucking Electrification:
  • Develop solutions for electrifying trucking fleets, including depot charging stations and fast-charging hubs.
  •     Shore Power Design:
  • Create shore power systems for ships and vessels, enabling them to connect to the grid while docked.
  •     L2 and L3 Charging Hubs:
  • Design Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) charging hubs, considering high-power charging requirements and user convenience.
