The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
At Travelers, we ensure the data supporting the company's internal and external financial reporting is accurately defined, controlled, and processed through financial systems in the most effective way to support the organization. As an Analyst, Financial Systems Management, you will provide administration support for the financial systems by managing access for users, making changes and updates to system functionality, and provide user support across our financial systems.As an Analyst of Financial System Management within the General Ledger Administration team, you ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in the financial ERP. In this role, you will administer system security for Accounts Payable, Asset Management, and General Ledger, configure the General Ledger (add accounts, system edits, etc.), and coordinate accounting hierarchies for accurate reporting. Your key responsibilities include participating in system upgrades, collaborating with company business leaders for system integration, providing support to General Ledger during monthly IT system changes, assisting in year-end activities, and preparing compliance documentation (MAR, SOX, 404, 302). Additionally, you will deliver outstanding business support, while working with your team to innovate and enhance efficiencies within the existing processes. What Will You Do?
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, timeliness, validity, and completeness of financial data to ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting with supervision and guidance.
- Assist in the completion of financial activities for supported lines of business including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support financial data for variance analysis and reporting against expectations leveraging reporting tools and extracting data.
- Utilize data tables and correct errors as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of support documentation meeting all control standards including MAR and SOX 404 and 302 requirements.
- Participate in the process of managing the availability, usability, integrity, security, and privacy of the data.
- Participate in the process of managing enhancement queue in partnership with IT utilizing Agile methodology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree with business degree or professional work experience in financial, accounting, technology, or related, including internships.
- Developing analytical skills and mindset.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
