About This Opportunity

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as an RN Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting and developing our growing nursing staff. Our department is proud to serve a diverse community, including many underserved patients, offering care that truly makes a difference. You'll work with patients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, creating unique and rewarding experiences every day.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate nursing operations during night shifts

  • Mentor and support new graduate nurses and early-career staff

  • Foster a positive learning environment for a young, motivated team

  • Provide guidance and leadership to help team members develop their skills

  • Manage patient flow and resource allocation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient care

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher

  • Emergency Department experience

  • Charge nurse experience highly preferred

  • Strong communication and mentoring skills

POSITION SUMMARY
This position coordinates, plans, and directs the daily functioning and staffing needs of the unit or department under the guidance and direction of the director. Provides leadership, positive role modeling and critical thinking skills to facilitate staff development. Serves as a liaison between all disciplines by effectively communicating, educating and problem solving. Proactively supports the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare systems. Assists in resolution of systems issues and enforces unit/department policy/procedures and standards of care, assists in evaluations, disciplinary and hiring
