From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.</p><p>Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>As a Senior Information Security Operator Level 1, you will provide the security monitoring solutions, reacting timely to security events as identified.</p><p>The role requires working in shift schedule (to cover 24/7) after the initial ramp up period.</p><p><strong>Specific assignments:</strong></p><p>The main responsibilities of an Information Security Analyst:</p><p>• Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts/compromises thorough review and analysis of relevant event detail and summary information.</p><p>• Ensure completeness of the incident information.</p><p>• Escalation of incidents to be handled by L2 SOC team, when relevant.</p><p>• Triage security events and incidents, detect anomalies, and report/direct remediation actions.</p><p>• Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive data.</p><p>• Analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users.</p><p>• Working with remediation (IT Infra &amp; Ops) teams on events and incident mitigation.</p><p>• Follow up on remediation activities</p><p><strong>Other assignments:</strong></p><p>• Support L1 &amp; L2 colleagues as required.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>• Bachelor’s college degree and/or IT/Systems/Computers technical certification.</p><p>• Monitoring and analysis of cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and endpoint detection &amp; response solutions.</p><p>• Experience with execution of standard SOC procedures.</p><p>• Experience with triage security events and incidents, detect anomalies, and report remediation actions.</p><p>• Experience with analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users.</p><p>• Keen on further developing oneself in the information security world and the security operations.</p><p>• Willing to work in shifts in 24/7 schedule (after the initial ramp up period).</p><p>• Working knowledge of security.</p><p>• Ability to communicate technical details effectively in writing and verbally.</p><p>EVOLUTION: L1 analyst role can develop into L2 role and then further beyond within the Security Operations Centre.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>We support your development! </strong>Do you feel you don’t match 100% of the requirements?
