Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Start times range from 3:30 am – 5:30 am
• Work day ends when the route has been completed (Roughly 10-14 hour days)
• Overtime and Weekends required based on business needs.

 

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Delivery Helper for Dawn Foods, you will be responsible to assist Dawn Drivers with the delivery of scheduled routes in a safe and productive manner. 

 

Dawn Foods will provide training and tuition reimbursement assistance to employees who are interest in attaining a Commercial Driver’s License, if interested and applicable.

 

 

What Does It Take to be a Delivery Helper at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

• 6 months work related experience or 1-year non-related employment experience
• Ability to work in the United States
• Must be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedly 
• Ability to operate MHE equipment
• Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful
• Computer skills helpful

 

What will you do as a Delivery Helper at Dawn Foods? 

• Assist in navigating the roadway and identify potential hazards.
• Assist in the rotation of our customers purchased product allowing for minimal damage or invoice error ratio. 
• Responsible for removing all products from the truck at the end of the route and cleaning the trailer to eliminate any spillage or garbage that could affect the next day’s deliveries.
• Dawn Foods will provide training and tuition reimbursement assistance to employees for the attainment of CDL Class A, if interested and applicable

• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein  
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn
