The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Florida’s legacy accounting, payroll and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. The Department of Financial Services (DFS) is leading this statewide initiative, which impacts stakeholders and users of the State’s financial data including all State agencies.

Requirements:

• Four (4) years of experience in a relevant discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science is required. A postsecondary degree in those fields may be used as an alternative for the years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Three (3) years of experience in auditing, disbursements, accounting, financial reporting, and/or technical experience (i.e., requirements gathering, data analysis, development, testing, and implementation) for accounting systems.

 

 

Preferences:

• Three (3) years professional State of Florida procurement experience.
• Three (3) years professional State of Florida accounts payable experience.
• Experience working in team environments (i.e., as a leader or as a member).
• Experience performing business analysis functions, including working with subject matter experts, business users, or stakeholders to gather information, document expectations, and develop the desired outcome.

 

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

 

Salary Range - $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
