Pleasant, PA location.  This person will be part of a dynamic team that picks, packs, and ships our customers’ online orders.

Schedule:

Monday though Friday 7:00 am start time with occasional Saturdays

Essential Functions:

Place orders to refill stock, receive and unpack inventory daily.
Download customer orders from our computer system and the internet channels.
Read orders and pick correct items according to order
Pack orders in a time effective manner with attention to detail.
Determine most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
Checks items to be shipped against orders to be certain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
Ship packages through different channels: UPS, USPS, and FedEx
Build baskets and gift collections to be sold at our retail store and online
Maintain and prepare routine daily administrative paperwork, reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
Follows policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Basic computer and internet skills
Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Ability to react to change productively and handle other tasks assigned
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established deadlines
Basic math skills
Must be able to communicate in oral and written form

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Dedicated to excellent attendance.
Available for extended hours during our peak holiday season that could involve additional overtime hours. i.e. Thanksgiving and Christmas are all peak times for us.
Ability to work in an open warehouse environment, which could involve exposure to elements, such as varying temperatures and/or loud noises.
Ability to operate a dolly or pallet jack for unloading and moving supplies and equipment.

Required Education & Experience:

1 year customer service experience
At least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred
Experience with shipping software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
