Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Individual Finance Coordinator is to provide finance coordination to all individuals, and
coordinate with the Director of the Financing, Program Director, and House Managers. Job responsibilities
may include, but are not limited to:


Assists with Social Security benefits for individuals
Assists with medicaid (EBT food stamps) for individuals
Pay Individual’s bills, rent, petty cash, and personal items
Calls Vendors to negotiate bills, and pricing
A Signer on Chase Accounts for Individuals (up to six months)
Tracks bank statements and has access to Chase checking account ledgers for verification
Completes monthly safe audits & conducts random safe checks as needed
Reconciles all ledgers, receipts, bank statements
Ensures that all ledgers, receipts, and bills are on the Google Drive
Monitors Individual loans from AID when they lack funds through Invoices
Makes recommendations for finances, not limited to processes and/or amount individual is able to spend
Manages and tracks Investable and EARC Trust Accounts
Ensures all Financial Policies and Procedures are up–to-date and retrains when new forms or changes in
the policies or procedures are made.
Trains Program Managers and House Managers on Finance Policies and Procedures
(answers finance questions)
Verifies transactions, such as funds disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers on computer spreadsheets and
databases. Reviews for accuracy and discrepancies
Mails out Bills and Invoices
Online individual orders
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must demonstrate AID Mission Statement and culture
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Must have or be in the process of acquiring an Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current Auto Insurance


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Valid CPR and First Aid
  • Experience working in an office setting
