Your Role

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial materials of consolidated results for executive leadership team, including PowerPoint slides to communicate business results and key drivers
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis for the company’s operating expense departments and capital plan
  • Support month-end close activities, including backlog and order reporting and accrual/prepaid requirements
  • Serve as key business partner across department managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
  • Collaborate on global forecasting and reporting requirements for monthly outlooks and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to drive organizational alignment
  • Automate and drive reporting and process improvements, including support of Power BI-FP&A dashboards, to streamline data analysis and reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects as required
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

 

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related concentration
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analyst roles with a bias towards FP&A activities
  • Proven track record as an effective business partner to various levels of the organization, providing analytical support to support decision making, and ability to explain complex financial concepts
  • Self-directed, operating with a sense of urgency
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for understanding the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform at a high level in a dynamic environment
  • Well organized and efficient with a strong attention to detail and follows through on execution
  • Experience working with financial models, metrics, and tools to determine projected financial benefits of business investments: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROI), Free Cash Flow (FCF) and working capital analysis
  • Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to the success of the company
  • This role may require up to 5% travel. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA or advanced accreditation
  • Experience working at a manufacturing company
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream EPM and PowerBI
