Their scope of practice includes assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):</strong> <ul> <li>Personal hygiene (bathing and grooming)</li> <li>Dressing</li> <li>Feeding</li> <li>Toileting</li> <li>Ambulation/Repositioning</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Routine Tasks </strong> <ul> <li>Cleaning/bed making, preparing rooms for admissions</li> <li>Recording food and liquid intake/output</li> <li>Taking vital signs</li> <li>Specimen collections</li> <li>Gathering/stocking supplies</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What to Expect:</strong></p> <p>168-hour program over 10 weeks</p> <ul> <li>Includes class lectures, hands-on skill labs, and clinical training</li> <li>Get paid $20.70/hr. during your certification training</li> <li>Tutoring for state examination</li> </ul> <p><strong>Class Start Date:&nbsp; </strong>September 14th - November 19th, 2026 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday (with 3 required Fridays due to additional training)&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li> <li>High School Diploma/GED</li> <li>Able to pass criminal background check</li> <li>Letter of Recommendation</li> <li>Health Examination (provided)</li> <li>Immunizations: <ul> <li>Negative TB skin test, or required documentation for positive results (&lt;12 months)</li> </ul> </li> <li> <p>Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to sit for their State Certification Examinatio
