About the role

As a Senior RD&A Technician, you will play a crucial role in developing and applying innovative beverage solutions. You’ll support on project and commercialization process, ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and food safety.

 

Reporting into the RDA Manager you will support our team of Technologists to prepare recipes and samples to be sent to customers and will gain wide exposure to specific Kerry technologies and the central R&D function.

 

This role will be based at our Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Naas with limited travel to other Kerry sites as required.

Key responsibilities

  • Look after the laboratory and keep all paperwork up to date
  • Support RD&A activities in the laboratory or pilot plant this may include carrying out pilot plant or lab trials following agreed procedures & recipes, carrying out routine analysis, functional & sensory evaluation, sample dispatch to customer or manufacturing site 
  • Ensure a tidy work environment at all times 
  • Look after the laboratory and keep all paperwork up to date 
  • Keep and manage retained samples of all product made and dispatched to customers 
  • Ordering of new raw materials 
  • Preparation of products for internal tastings
  • Maintain the R&D raw materials ensuring they are fully stocked with appropriate traceability
  • Maintain relevant R&D documentation
  • Prepare samples for standard demos, carry out tests to set specifications and standards
  • Responsible for the sourcing of raw materials in-house preparation for product development, testing, pilot plant and upscaling
