HVAC Product Engineering Intern (May - Aug 2024)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn & use MAHLE systems to work on Product Engineering tasks (Submitting VAMAS request, test set-up, analyze test data & generate reports to be reviewed & approved by team / management)
• Learn about HVAC module design from quality aspects, starting with Drawings (tolerance callouts), DFMEA, DRBFM etc.,
• If opportunity arise, help with tasks in manufacturing plants, customer sites etc., (this task requires travel)
• Participate and run HVAC module level tests.
• Learn & use 1st order CFD Tool for HVAC module design optimization.
• Get involved in problem solving initiative with team members using tools (5 whys, fish bone, fault tree etc.,)

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited university 
  • Major: Mechanical Engineering 
  • Class Standing: Sophomore or Junior 
• Skills: CAD, CAE, Validation - Testing, Analysis & report creation
• Overall GPA must be a 3.0 or higher
