Solventum is seeking Maintenance Technician candidates to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN!

• Starting Pay: $32.87/hour + $1.50 Shift Differential
• Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday night 9pm-6:30am; Monday-Thursday night 10pm-6:30am)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying facilities and production equipment, including but not limited to pneumatics, hydraulics and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Performing basic machining, fabrication, and millwright tasks.
• Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
• Analyzing data/performance of existing equipment to determine proper maintenance plans, design changes, and improvements.
• Maintaining equipment parts inventory and stockroom cycle counts.
• Working with supervisor to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in an electrical or mechanical field 

OR

• High School Diploma/GED AND 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
   

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or short notice shift coverage as needed
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Possess knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic symbols and nomenclature
