Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at our Millington, M.D facility, you will be responsible for maintaining,
troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe,
efficient, and reliable operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting
continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production equipment performs at optimal levels.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing
equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and modify machinery, production equipment, piping systems, and electrical
infrastructure.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance emergencies to minimize
production interruptions.
• Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical
documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including repairs to HVAC systems, air compressors,
lighting, fans, and building infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Safety, and other cross-functional teams to
improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Move, position, and install manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Follow established maintenance procedures and safety practices while identifying root causes
and corrective actions.
YOU HAVE:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training, trade school certification, or related
education preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience; ten (10) years preferred.
• Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing
environment. Fabrication, welding, and machining experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, including short-notice overtime, as business needs require.
• Team members must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently use hands and
tools, bend, kneel, reach, balance, and occasionally climb as needed to perform maintenance
activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. continuously.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise,
varying temperatures, and conditions that may not be climate-controlled.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely perform essential job
functions.
