As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will be expected to interact with individuals in a professional and courteous manner, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
