Brown & Brown of Colorado is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive for our growing Property & Casualty team!
The Account Executive will support the designing, marketing, and implementation of insurance programs on behalf of clients. The AE is responsible for strategic planning meetings with clients to discuss and recommend risk transfer programs, coordinates services between the client and the insurance company, and provides day-to-day consulting and client advice.
*This position is on a hybrid schedule sitting locally at the Denver or Fort Collins office.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Responsible for making independent decisions about marketing strategy, insurance program design and communication to clients.
Assist customers in understanding their insurance policies/coverages and determine their individual service needs
Analyze contracts for certificates of insurance, issue certificates and binders
Review for accuracy all policies, changes/endorsements, audits and other documents
Answer customer and carrier questions with day-to-day email, phone, fax and mail requests
Prepare all necessary applications and data for a complete submission to underwriters
Address policy change requests by processing endorsements
Maintain high retention on existing accounts
Increase revenue by crossing selling and writing new business
Attend training sessions and continuing education to maintain licensing requirements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
5+ years’ related experience in Commercial Lines P&C Insurance
Active CO Property & Casualty License
Solid knowledge and understanding of P&C coverage, current legislation, rules, and laws
Familiarity with contracts and provisions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ability to learn new software
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
WHAT WE OFFER:
