About the role

The Physician Practice Clinical Coordinator ASC is responsible for adminstering nursing program in Ambulatory Surgery Center to maintain standards of patient care and advises medical staff, department heads and administrators in matters related to nursing service.  This Registered Nursed demonstrates outstanding clinical and leadership skills.  The RN Clinical Coordinator will have responsibility for:  clinical staff scheduling, training, and mentoring, compliance with State and regulatory requirements, participating and leading quality improvement initiatives, and working as a liasion to the providers in the practice.   

Education - BSN in Nursing required with MSN preferred

Experience - A minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient setting. Experience in a lead role preferred.

Licensure/Certification - Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in Nurse Multi-State Compact agreement, holds Registered Nurse License from that state that is designated as "Compact" or "Multi-State Privilege" using primary source verification and provides additional documentation as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing.  RN License from a compact state with a designation of "Single State" does not meet the requirement and nurse must obtain a Maryland license.Current BLS (CPR) required in compliance with policy. ACLS and PALS required in compliance with policy in the urgent care setting.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Strong team work ethic while also able to work independently with minimal supervision.  Ability to work in stressful environments while maintaining a professional attitude in communication with staff and providers.  Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to maintain confidentiality
