Data Analyst - Fullscope Poly Required

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph required

Position

Seeking a Data Analyst to support an Intelligence Client.

Required

• Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following disciplines:
  • Business analytics
  • Statistics
  • Data verification and validation
  • Data visualization
• Experience in applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business analytics problems
• Experience creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures
• Experience translating customer requirements into project or system specifications
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans
• Experience using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar interactive data visualization software
• Demonstrated experience transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language, such as Python
• Proficiency using a data preparation tool, such as Tableau Prep Builder
• Experience using Excel, Python, and SQL Relational Databases (e.g. Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience with other business data reporting systems
  

Desired

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems…or 4 years of relevant data analysis experience within the IC or military
• Experience with data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
• Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor business or mission data, Sponsor applications, or Sponsor database structures
• Experience with the Sponsor’s data handling procedures
• Demonstrated visualization tools, such as Jupyter, Visio, SharePoint, or Confluence
• Proficiency with APIs
• Demonstrated experience using GitHub, or similar version control systems
• Experience using Python or R
  
• Able to utilize critical thinking and analytic judgements and apply programmatic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in disparate datasets
• Proficiency using mathematical, statistical, or other data-driven analysis to address business questions
• Ability to Interact with customers to coordinate requirements and resolve data questions
• Proficiency working independently or as a member of a team to research, organize, and analyze information
• Documenting workflows
• Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Experience providing analytical judgement and trend analysis based on research and comparisons with past products
• Obtaining structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, synthesizing it, and presenting the results effectively and concisely in written and graphic form to internal and external stakeholders
