Overview

Responsible for the administration and governance of the sales and operations process. Work cross-functionally with the commercial, operations, trade development, and finance functions on all issues to drive better bottom-line performance based on analytical data and act as the conduit of information and open communication between local leadership and Corporate/Regional Sales & Operations leaders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and a KPI scorecard to measure the progress of related processes in the generation of consensus forecasts; ensure established KPIs are reviewed monthly and ultimately achieved
  • Develop, oversee, and communicate the monthly S&OP calendar and timelines to all stakeholders
  • Organize and lead reconciliation and KPI meetings to ensure local leadership is engaged in key issues
  • Ensure demand forecasts are created per calendar deadlines and monitor the accuracy of item statuses in the system
  • Create and submit unconstrained Consensus Commercial Forecasts to the Operations department
  • Implement and monitor adherence to new policies and procedures created by cross-functional corporate and regional team which affect SGWS Commercial selling divisions and dedicated supplier divisions
  • Provide training to local stakeholders on the Commercial Sales Planning Tool and the Sales and Operations monthly process
  • Provide support to local Division management as the subject matter expert on Operations, and IT related Sales & Operations topics
  • Coach, direct, counsel team on overall performance; define expectations and monitor progress
  • Attract, retain and motivate the team to maintain an engaging work environment and to ensure sound policies and procedures adhered to
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven years of relevant experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
  • Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends
