The Assistant Program Manager for PSH (Permanent Supportive Housing) Supportive Services will assist the PSH Program Manager in overseeing three distinct Supportive Service teams located at Redwood Crossing, Sequoia Crossings, and Yaquina Hall. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Assistant Program Manager will provide leadership and support to Case Managers, Coordinators and Site Assistants. This role may require rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous staff support. This is a grant funded position contingent upon the continuation of program funding.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree in social sciences or a related field.
- At least four years of experience in customer service, healthcare, education, social services, or related public-facing sectors, with one of those years being in a management or leadership position.
- Preference for candidates with experience working with homeless, disables, and/or vulnerable populations.
- Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
- Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required.
- Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.
- Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
- Candidate must pass comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, data entry, and internet applications;
- Effective customer service, phone skills, as well as writing and appropriate email etiquette.
- Must possess time management skills, meet deadlines, and process cases accurately with a sense of urgency.
- Exhibits a positive attitude and engages with others in a cooperative and supportive manner.
- Preferred but not required: prior training in CPR/First Aid, Food Handler's, Mandatory Reporting, Privacy Laws, Trauma-Informed Care, Suicide Intervention, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect.
- Demonstrated experience working with chronically homeless, vulnerable/disabled populations as well as community partners and social service agencies. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Ability to read, analyze, and articulate technical procedures and regulations.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
- Provides support to Case Managers, Resource Navigators and Program Coordinators under the supervision of the Program Manager.
- Meets weekly with the Supportive Services team to review Individual Support Plans and participant progress. Assists in implementing care plans, identifying action steps, and connecting resources.
- Assists with the onboarding process for new staff, including sending training materials, tracking completion of onboarding steps, and following up on missing tasks.
- Provides support to staff when the Program Manager is off-duty.
- Ensures continuity of program management standards in the absence of the Program Manager.
- Helps coordinate staff scheduling in the Program Manager's absence and approve minor scheduling changes as needed.
- Completes required incident documentation related to investigations and reporting requirements.
- Ensures timely and accurate data entry into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and generate reports as necessary.
- Mediates and de-escalates conflicts when needed.
