The New York International Equity Sales desk specializes in the sale of non-US equity securities in the US. The desk’s institutional account base consists of hedge funds, mutual funds, and pension funds based primarily in the US. Salespeople are responsible for managing client relationships, providing access to firm content and resources, as well as producing investable ideas with the ultimate goal of helping clients grow their business and generate excess returns.

  • Support senior sales team in building/maintaining strong relationships internally (ECM/GIR/trading/etc.) and externally (Mutual fund & Hedge fund investors).
  • Develop content and trade ideas with the support of trading/research.
  • Help ensure the operations of the desk are working smoothly/efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of previous experience in related areas, such as Equity Research, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income Sales or Equity Sales OR 0-3 years of unrelated experience 
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial with good attention to detail
  • Ability to excel in face-paced, transaction oriented environment
  • Interest in global financial markets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal/client coverage skills 

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
