Production - Utility workers at its Spotswood, NJ location.

 

We are seeking individuals who can understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. We are looking for individuals who can complete assignments in a timely fashion, contribute to operational excellence; are self-driven and enjoy learning new skills; have a positive work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills; are a team player and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Job Description:

Specific responsibilities include safely running machines, reading orders, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting and stacking product, accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.  Candidates must have ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

Candidates must be willing to work weekends and overtime as required. 

Responsibilities Include:

• follow all safety rules and practices at all times;
• learn customer requirements and specifications by reading work orders, print cards, and design specifications;
• coordinating activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;
• maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;
• continually monitoring the quality and quantity of production;
• maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;
• performing quality inspections and tests, and recording findings;
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

 Requirements:

• Sit down Forklift experience preferred, but not required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Drug screen, health assessment, background and reference check
• Must be available for NIGHT SHIFT (7p-7a) and WEEKENDS
