APPOINTMENT TYPE: Permanent Exempt (PEX), Full Time position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive civil service examination process and shall serve at the discretion of the appointment officer. The anticipated duration of this project position is up to thirty-six (36) months and will not result in an eligible list or permanent civil service hiring. Project-based positions cannot be ongoing or exceed 36 months.

Job Description
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator serves as a key member of the NOC team within the Department of Technology. This senior level role is responsible for independently monitoring, analyzing and supporting enterprise infrastructure, application platforms, and wireless services utilizing enterprise-level tools to manage incidents, perform system monitoring, and making sure service level objectives are met. The position also involves collaboration with internal technical teams, external vendors, and departmental stakeholders to ensure timely communication and resolution of IT issues. The NOC Administrator will also contribute to change control processes, documentation, and performance reporting to support operational excellence in a 24x7 environment.
