This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.  

You will develop codes, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software. You'll leverage understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. You'll work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. You'll resolve customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. You may assist in development of software user manuals. You'll also assume responsibility for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training, including automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with software development
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including Java and Python
• Experience with containerization, including Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ability to develop and deploy services on Cloud platforms, including AWS
• Ability to process and ingest large scale data using Apache Spark
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with developing ETL and ELT pipelines with Apache Nifi and Databricks
• Ability to perform message queuing and real time streaming with Apache Kafka
• Ability to perform Scala programming

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
