The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) - Senior Manager will focus on maintaining and building relationships with external Opinion Leaders (OLs) and large medical centers in Dermatology. The TLL will work cross-functionally with medical, sales, marketing, and training teams to drive aligned external engagement strategies. This role reports to the Director of Thought Leader Liaisons with a dotted line to the Regional Sales Director and will be a key member of the Brand Marketing TeamMore specifically, this role will be directly aligned to existing District boundaries and TLL will be expected to thoughtfully coordinate with local District Manager.

  • Key Responsibilities

    1. Opinion Leader Development and Management: 

    • Identify, cultivate, and maintain professional relationships with established and emerging regional Opinion Leaders in Dermatology. 

    • Serve as liaison for OL Speaker bureau, including speaker training, compliance, and product theater management.  

    • Provide speaker recommendations and manage speaker faculty operations 

    • Note: speaker strategy and content will be responsibility of marketing team and execution with Derm Dynasty. 

    • Identify and manage relationships with key national Dermatology accounts and Psoriasis Centers. 

     

    2. Strategic Customer Development: 

    • Lead engagement of key customers, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Centers of Excellence, Professional Organizations, and Foundations/Patient Organizations. 

    • Map and manage relationships with national Dermatology centers and other large treatment facilities. 

    • Coordinate one-to-one exchanges between the cross functional team for key initiatives and events for KOLs. 

     

    3. Conference and Key Event Management: 

    • Will serve as the key Responsible Amgen Employee (RAE) including identifying events aligning to brand strategy, coordinating across customer facing teams and recommending future evolution of event sponsorship. 

    • Attend and manage brand activity at regional Dermatology conferences, including product theaters and other brand activities. 

    • Manage overall regional sponsorship budget and secure sponsorships. 

    • Coordinate executive meetings with OLs at conferences that focus on impactful engagement with close coordination with cross functional customer facing teams. 

    • Ensure timely completion of conference and speaker contract requirements. 

    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams to ensure alignment with conference engagement plans. 

     

    4. Cross-Functional Coordination: 

    • Coordinate field engagements in close collaboration to ensure strategic planning and One Amgen approach across all shared customers and accounts.
